Younique Performing Arts & Youth Outreach strives to combat the undesirable messages presented to our youth by equipping them with the necessary tools to develop positive self-esteem and self-worth, therefore, aiding them to defy negative statistics to become impactful agents of change throughout the world. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s generation.

YOUnique Creative Writing and Educational Tutoring
The YOUnique creative writing and educational program is a constituent of the organization that assist youth in building their voice and developing their creative writing skills through standard English/Grammar tutoring, poetry writing/reading, journaling etc. Additionally, this component of the program empowers students to effective utilize their oratorical and presentation skills.
PERFORMING ARTS
Captain was founded by Ms. Curzetta Austin in March 2015 and it's mission and purpose is to present dramatic and evocative works of Art through
creativity in stage plays, screenwriting and poetic expression that will portray significant life messages and meaning to diverse audiences. This component of YOUnique Performing Arts & Youth Outreach will serve as an outlet for young people to build confidence and self-esteem through powerful, striking performances that minister to the soul.
AUTHENTIC CREATIVITY
With this initiative, our goal is to promote creativity and great opportunities for youth of all ages. With access to the right resources and training, young people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.

With our organization's mission, YOUnique youth strives to always find new strategies for helping youth deal with the challenges they face on an on-going basis. Being an advocate for positive change is something that our organization takes very seriously and we work everyday to make a positive impact in the lives of young people everywhere we go.
